🎨✨ Yearbook Cover Contest Voting Week! ✨🎨
In art class with Mrs. Howard, students in second through fifth grade have been designing yearbook covers inspired by our theme: “Be Kind, Be Excellent.” As they created their artwork, students learned how colors, images, and symbols can communicate powerful messages about kindness and excellence in our school community. ❤️💙
Our faculty narrowed it down to their 100 favorites, and from there, Mrs. Ribble selected the top 20 finalists. Now it’s the students’ turn. They’ll be voting this week to choose the final winning cover!
The final 20 designs won’t be revealed just yet, we’re keeping them a surprise until voting ends. 👀✨
The winner will be announced next week and will receive a FREE yearbook at the end of the school year! 📘🌟

Thanks to Mrs. Provstgaard, our school won a Book Drop Assembly featuring the amazing author Elaine Vickers @elainebvickers! 🎉 Elaine visited our students to share what it’s like to be an author, where her story ideas come from, and how reading and writing can open up a whole world of imagination. 💭✏️
Through a generous donation from The Lightweaver Foundation, Operation Literacy provided every student with one of Elaine’s books to take home and keep! 📖❤️
